If you do not have health insurance, or choose to not use insurance for mental health services, you can pay out of pocket.
The average rate per hour, in my area, ranges from $150 -$250. My current rate is $125 per session at this time. I reserve the right to modify prices in the future, to keep up with rising costs associated with my licensure, business management, and professional education to maintain licensure, etc.
I am in-network with:
Aetna
I can offer superbill for client who are using “out of network” coverage with their insurance carrier. If you wish to seek reimbursement, it is up to you to connect with your insurance carrier to understand their policy and rate of reimbursement. Payment for services is due at time of appointment.
-
Payment for psychotherapy sessions are due at the time of the appointment. I accept mobile app payment through Venmo (@DnklarinLMFT), Zelle (hoomaucounselingservices@gmail.com), or PayPal (daniellelarinlmft@gmail.com).
All fees are due immediately upon services being rendered.

Services are fully remote. No in-person options are available at this time. Sessions will be held synchronously (live) through audio and video call, audio telephone call, or audio only video call. These options are discussed at intake. You will be able to determine the best method for you at our initial session.
Video sessions will be held through HIPAA-complaint video platform: Zoom for Healthcare or Simple Practice. You will receive a link in your appointment reminder.
-
Navigating technology can be challenging. Sometimes, the internet is down. Or there are rolling black-outs that we don’t anticipate. Sometimes, life just happens and we forget about our appointment.
We have a grace period for attending the session. I allot a 10 minute window of grace. This means that clients have up to 10 minutes after the appointment start time to log-on to their session or contact their provide if there are issues with accessing the platform.
If a client is 11 minutes or more late, the session will be ended and a No-Show fee will be charged to your account.
If I notice a pattern, I will discuss concerns that maybe coming up and solution find alternatives. If after a discussion, there are 3 no shows or late start appointments, I reserve the right to value my time and may end our sessions. If this occurs, I will assist with resource finding and connecting to providers that could support you.
-
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact me AT LEAST 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If the appointment is missed or the appointment is cancelled late (less than 24 hours) you will be charged a full session fee ($120).
A commitment to attend treatment regularly and consistently is part of healing. While it may not be easy, showing up dressed and ready to work is part of the journey.

Therapy sessions are considered confidential. However, it is required by law for a licensed mental health therapist to break confidentiality without a client’s consent in the following case:
1) Imminent danger to oneself
2) Imminent danger to another person
3) Suspicions of child abuse
4) Suspicions of dependent adult abuse
Therapists are legally bound to breach confidentiality when the safety of the client or the safety of another is compromised.
All other requests to release information must be authorized by the client in writing.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” which explains how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have healthcare insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical services rendered.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total cost of any non-emergency services or items. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees including psychotherapy services.
Upon request, your health care provider can give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or exam. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you select, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule your service with them.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate provided, you can dispute the bill.
Please retain a copy of the Good Faith Estimate.

Ideally, termination occurs at the end of services, when your goals are met. This is something we mutually agree on and prepare for.
In some cases, this doesn’t happen. A client can end treatment at any time.
While a clinician can also terminate services, it will be clinically relevant and usually requires a higher level of care (Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Wrap Around Services, or Hospitalization).
